Those who only read our feed don’t see the other pages on the CGW site, including the “Events” section, and since the first two listed here include both of my sisters (both this weekend!) and the third one is a good friend’s, I thought it required a broader mention. Also note, the Revo project has changed venues last minute…see below!

Revo: Social Justice Fight Fine Art / Photography / Film / Fashion ***now @ The Old Farmer’s Exchange!!! Kinoole St., Hilo*** (the Old Western Auto Building has been condemned!)
Okay, this is my hanai sister’s project (which she’s putting together with a whole collective of positive/pro-active/socially conscious [and fashion forward
] Hawaii youth!) – so if you’re Big Island you best go! Here’s da scoop: “Revo (as in REVOlution) is a movement within a generation that is redefining America’s perception of love … Revo is not a one time event but rather a daily locomotion to make things in our world better.” This should be big, and it’s definitely all about the LOVE. There is a five dollar cover, which will be sent to The Grace of God orphanage in Malawi, Africa where they are truly making a difference! Bring your family, friends, and some cash / buy some art – as the artists are also donating part of the proceeds. Check sis Nina Brav’s site at www.myspace.com/revooflove . Psst…by the way, if you ever need snaps taken (wedding, advertising, modeling…), she is a mean photog!
April 26-29
