The Clinton’s are disliked too much by the Republican’s. And if Hillary winds up as the Democratic nominee, the Republican’s have the weapons, the ammunition, all the Clinton corruption we’re sick of hearing about…to utilize against her. Clinton will inspire a nation of neo-cons to come out in force, to make sure their militarist nationalist Bush-backed Republican McCain will win and maintain the anti-terrorism terrorism, Patriot Act spying on US citizens, war mongering, and keep us in Iraq for years…and years…to come. Despite some of his once-positive attributes, and nevermind that he once stood up for things he believed in, McCain will become another puppet - just like our current president. We have already witnessed this shift since he decided to run for office (though some blame it on senility or an honest admitting to not recalling his own voting history or perspective on core issues). Recently he’s made advances to appeal to the extreme conservatives - who constantly bagger him that he’s not conservative enough. The only thing that’s consistent about his beliefs, is that he’ll flip-flop on them in order to get elected: he now wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade, now wants no campaign finance reform, now is for torturing war criminals (of all things), etc.
Many news and web sites regularly report on McCain’s flips and flops, Newsmax, The Democratic Underground, The Carpetbagger Report to name a few. And now not-so-busy directors are compiling his flip-flop best-of’s - part 1, 2…perhaps many more to come. One reader comment was extreme: “McCain is proof that selling your soul to the devil is not a one-time transaction but a lengthy, on-going negotiation to pawn away things you have for the object of greatest desire. He wants to power of the presidency so bad you can see him mortgaging away everything he has to get it. This nation should be very distrustful of such a man.”
There is a reason conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh jokes that he wants to help raise money for Hillary? As he explains, “[Clinton] just polarizes people. I think she’s going to gin up enough anti-Hillary turnout to perhaps be a boon to whoever the Republican nominee is. …Now, if Obama is the nominee, we are doomed, and you should get ready and prepared for it now.” Almost all polls show Obama winning in an election between him and McCain. While Clinton would likely only win with Mike Huckabee running against her.
Personally, even though I find his ego-maniacal show entertaining, I kinda hope Rush Limbaugh and his people are doomed.
If “experience ” is so important, why is Biden/Dodd not the ticket?
They have too much “experience”? Obama has too little?
Hillary is just right?
With all that experience, how come Hillary did not get it right about Iraq as Obama did ?
Some people have asked the wrong question. It is not the number of years of experience. It is how good is his (her) judgement.

They asked McCain recently to clarify his thoughts on Roe v. Wade and he reportedly responded:
“As long as they get out of New Orleans I don’t care how they do it.”
